Kolam is based on the philosophy of learning through play. The museum experience is designed so as to engage children in the entire experience of learning and enable them to have fun.

All exhibits are interactive and many can be handled, looked at through microscopes, subjected to testing and viewed in many different ways thus, giving children a rare view of the world around them.
